Connecting the instrument to a PC
Use a crossover cable with female 9-pin D-sub connectors at both ends.
Connecting a controller with a 25-pin D-sub female port
Use a crossover cable with a female 9-pin D-sub and a male 25-pin D-sub connector.
As shown in the figure, use a crossover cable in which the RTS and CTS pins are shorted together and con-
nected to the DCD connector of the instrument.
Connect the GP-IB cable to the GP-IB connector.
Recommended cables: Hioki Model 9637 RS-232C Cable (1.8 m)
