The instrument samples each channel at 10.24 kHz. The three voltage channels and
three current channels are switched at 61.44 kHz with a multiplexer (MUX), and two
A/D converters (one for voltage and another for current) sample the channels. Since
U1 and I1, U2 and I2, and U3 and I3 are sampled simultaneously, there is no phase
difference between voltage and current readings for the same channel. Sampling
between channels for voltage (U1, U2, and U3) and current (I1, I2, and I3) is shifted.
The phase differences that result from this sampling shift are corrected internally,
and the phase angle is displayed. However, since waveforms are not corrected for
sampling shift, the waveforms for U1, U2, and U3 as well as I1, I2, and I3 will differ
slightly if the same input is supplied to all three channels.
