If the cause of the error remains unknown, perform a system reset with the Memory HiCorder. This will
reset all settings to their values when the unit was shipped from the factory.
After performing the system reset, send the settings data from the PC again.

To clean the MR8904, wipe it gently with a soft cloth moistened with water or mild detergent. Never use
solvents such as benzene, alcohol, acetone, ether, ketones, thinners or gasoline, as they can deform and
discolor the case.
The device encounters
an error (the red LED
lights up).
Is the CAN cable properly connected? Connect the CAN cable properly.

Has the interface been properly configured? Configure the interface so that it matches the
interface of the CAN bus being measured.

Has the baud rate been properly set? Set the baud rate so that it matches the
baud rate of the CAN bus being measured.

Have the terminators been configured
properly?
Configure the terminators so that there are
two for the entire CAN bus.
