4.3 Starting and Stopping Recording
46
After installing the logger, connect the leads to the measurement object, and start
recording.
4.3
Starting and Stopping Recording
• In order to prevent electric shock and short-circuit accidents,
shut off the power to the line to be measured before connecting
the connection cable.
• To avoid electrical accidents, remove power from the circuit
before connecting the connection cable.
• Ensure that the input does not exceed the maximum rated cur-
rent to avoid logger damage, short-circuiting and electric shock
resulting from heat building.
• The maximum rated voltage between input terminals and ground
is 60 VDC. Attempting to measure voltages exceeding 60 V with
respect to ground could damage the logger and result in per-
sonal injury.
• To avoid damage to the instrument, do not apply voltage to connection
cable jack.
• Note that the instrument may be damaged if the applied current
exceeds the measurement range.
Recording cannot start when the battery is depleted. When the battery
becomes exhausted during recording, recording stops.
