Communications Command Reference
Loading measurement conditions (panel loading)
Syntax
Command
*RCL <Panel number>
or
[:SYSTem]
:PANel:LOAD <Panel number>
• Panel number {1 to 15}
Specifies the panel number to which the measurement conditions are
loaded.
Description Loads the measurement conditions saved to the specified panel number.
If a panel number to which the measurement conditions have not been saved is specified,
an execution error occurs.
Example
*RCL 1
The measurement conditions saved to panel number 1 are loaded.
Deleting the saved measurement conditions (panel deletion)
Syntax
Command
[:SYSTem]
:PANel:CLEar <Panel number>
• Panel number{1 to 15}
Specifies the panel number from which the measurement conditions
are deleted.
Description Deletes the measurement conditions saved to the specified panel number. Even if the
panel number to which the measurement conditions have not been saved is specified, an
execution error does not occur.
Example
:SYSTem:PANel:CLEar 1
The measurement conditions saved to panel number 1 are deleted.
Setting the panel name
Syntax Command
[:SYSTem]
:PANel:NAME <Panel number>,<"Panel
name">
• Panel number {1 to 15}
Specifies the panel number to which the measurement conditions are
saved.
• "Panel name" {Up to 10 one-byte characters in length}
Specifies the panel name.
Description Sets the panel name.
The panel name is enclosed in double quotation marks (").
Example
:SYSTem:PANel:NAME 3,"HIOKI"
The panel name for panel No. 3 is set to “HIOKI”.
Querying the panel name
Syntax Query
[:SYSTem] :PANel:NAME? <Panel number>
• Panel number {1 to 15}
Specifies the panel number to be queried.
Response
(5 to 15 bytes +
CRLF)
<Panel number>,<"Panel name">
• Panel number {1 to 15}
• "Panel name" {Up to 10 one-byte characters in length}
Returns the panel name.
Description Queries the panel name.
Example
:SYSTem:PANel:NAME? 3
␣
3,"HIOKI"
The panel name for panel No. 3 is “HIOKI”.
