2.4 Turning the Power On and Off
Before turning the instrument on, make sure the power supply voltage matches
that indicated on the its power connector. Connection to an improper power
supply voltage may damage the instrument and present an electrical hazard.
• The measurement setting state is the same as when the power was previ-
ously turned off (backup).
To preserve changes to settings, wait a short time (about five seconds) after
changing a setting before turning power off.
• However, measurement settings made through the RS-232C or GP-IB inter-
face and measurement settings loaded by LOAD signals of the EXT I/O con-
nector are not memorized.
• Before starting to measure, allow 30 minutes for warm-up.
After warm-up, be sure to perform a self-calibration.
