Delete a file or folder.
Make sure write protection is disabled for the storage media. Files and folders
cannot be deleted if write protection is enabled.

Make sure write protection is disabled for the storage media.

Select the file or folder you want to delete (p. 292).

Delete the file or folder.
F8

F3 Display [Page 2/3] and select [Delete] .
A confirmation dialog box appears.
F1 Select [Execute].
The selected file or folder is deleted.
To cancel deleting
Select F2 [Cancel] .

Operating Key Procedure

Select the file or folder you want to rename (p. 292).

Rename the file or folder.
F8

F4 Display [Page 2/3] and select [Rename] .
The [Rename] dialog box appears.
F1 to F8 Select [Edit] or [Direct] (when using the key-
board) and enter a name.

F7 Select [Execute].
The file or folder is renamed.
To cancel renaming
Select F8 [Cancel] .
