This section describes basic temperature mea-
surement procedures and data recording (in man-
ual recording mode).
3.2 Basic Temperature Measurement
The temperature sensor is located at the end of
the metal sheath of the 9478, 9479 SHEATH
TYPE TEMPERATURE PROBE. To accurately
test internal temperature, insert the probe into the
item you want to measure to a distance at least 15
to 20 times the diameter of the sheath.
