Starting and Stopping Recording
To start and stop
recording
Recording can be started and stopped either manually or at
preset times.
• Manual recording
Press the
START/STOP
key to start and stop recording.
• Timed recording
After setting start and stop times, recording starts and
stops at the preset times.
With either method, always press the
START/STOP
key to
start recording. You can start and stop recording by press-
ing
START/STOP
with any screen displayed.
When recording starts, data is recorded to internal memory.
When recording with
partitioned memory
To erase recorded data
Press the
DATA RESET
key.
• After pressing the
DATA RESET
key, execute "Store
Recording Data".
• After pressing the
DATA RESET
key, execute "Erase the
Data Just Recorded".

Recording start and stop operations differ according to
whether memory partitioning is enabled.
• When memory partitioning is disabled
Only one-time measurement is available, but available
recording time is longer than when memory partitioning is
enabled.
• When memory partitioning is enabled
Four measurement sessions can be recorded, but only
one quarter of the amount of data can be recorded (com-
pared to when memory partitioning is disabled).

Up to 50 events can be recorded, whether or not memory is partitioned. Verify the
number of recordable events before starting recording.
