7.3.4 Procedure for connecting to the terminal

1.

Use a flat blade screwdriver to loosen the screws on the termi-
nal block.

2.

Connect the input cable to the terminal block and tighten the
screws on the block. (at a tightening torque of 0.25 N•m).

3.

Connect the terminal block to the module.

When connecting the terminal block to the instrument or
when the instrument is recording, do not touch the temper-
ature sensor. Touching the temperature sensor may cause
the thermocouple measurement to be inaccurate.
