NOTE: During the intermediate steps of auto-stabilization and outriggers auto-
retraction, while two or three outriggers are touching the ground, the engine
automatically runs at minimum rpm to ensure smooth movements.
4.2.3 SINGLE OUTRIGGER MOVEMENTS
In case of need it’s also possible to move one outrigger at a time, for instance
when it’s necessary to accurately plac e outriggers in a narrow area or close to
an obstacle such as a manhole.
Also to carry on outrigger manual movement the machine must be closed and
aligned, pressing
remote control button n.2 “ SINGLE OUTRIGGER MOVEMENT
SELECTOR ” display will show the follow ing image.
Display shows the outrigger selected, the first
is outrigger n.1, the menu is recursive so that
to select another outrigger button n.2 has to
be pressed again. Pressing button n.2 five
times display will come back to the main page.
Once the desired outrigger is selected, to
move it it’s enough to use button n.1 and
button n.7 as indicated by the arrows
displayed.
When an outrigger is touching the ground its led will be flashing to indicating it
to the operator.
When the outriggers have been placed as required, to stabilize the machine
operator have to come back to the display main page pressing button n.2 or
n.9 and use the AUTO-STABILIZATION procedure.
When machine is stabilized the operator has to verify that all the outriggers led
are ON and that machine is perfectly levelled (within 1°) looking at the machine
spirit level, even if the levelling inclination is detected by the electronic level
sensors.
