APPENDIX 10 - TROUBLESHOOTING
This troubleshooting is divided into 5 sections:
1) OPERATIONAL
2) REMOTE CONTROL
3) 12V BATTERY
4) ELECTRIC MOTOR
5) ENGINE
1) OPERATIONAL CONTROL TROUBLESHOOTING
A) Tracks are not driven straight
Drive the machine straight on 10 meters (33 feet) measuring the side
drift, does it exceed 1 meter (about 3 feet)?
NO

Machine respects the drifting tolerance
YES

Does it makes the same both moving with engine or electric
motor?
NO

Reverse the two hoses outline on the two pumps of the not
properly working power system (engine or electric motor),
driving now the machine does it drift on the opposite side?
YES

Problem depends on the pump.
NO

Reverse the valveblock inlet hoses from left valveblock
to the right one. Does now the machine drift on the
opposite side?
YES

Problem depends on something from the hydraulic
manifold to the valveblock. Manifold could be tested
reversing its outlines hoses.
NO

Problem depends on something from the valveblock
outline to the drive gear motor or on drive gear
motor itself.
YES

Check red joystick functioning by the JOYSTICK menu.
Verify that tracks controls (lever or button) on the
valveblocks are not activated.
Try to drive the machine with both sides proportional valves
completely pressed, does it drive straight?
YES

Adjust the tracks currents
NO

Check hydraulic system from hydraulic manifold to drive
gear motors including deviator hydraulic valve. Deviator
proper functioning is indicated on use and maintenance
manual.
B) Jib could not be moved with outriggers up and basket unloaded
Jib could be moved with basket unloaded, make sure this condition is
respected, and try again.
If it is still not working check what’s on the display, does it appear on
main display “JIB ONLY”?
