REMOVING THE ENGINE ASSEMBLY
1.
REMOVING THE SERVICE PLUG (HV ONLY)
(1)
Wear insulated gloves and remove the service plug from the PCU.

2.
DISCONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
(1)
Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
3.
COLLECTION OF REFRIGERANT

4.
DISCHARGING ENGINE OIL
(1)
Remove the drain plug and gasket from the oil pan to drain engine
oil.
! CAUTION
•
Drain the engine oil after the oil temperature is lowered
enough to prevent burning.
•
Dispose the engine oil in accordance with the specified pro-
cedures (industrial waste disposal) or other environment-
friendly practices.
(2)
Replace with a new gasket and mount the drain plug to the oil
pan.
Tightening Torque:
41 N·m {418 kgf·cm, 30 lbf·ft}
