3) Press the UP or DOWN button, move to “Backup/Restore settings.” Press the RIGHT,
OK or MENU button.
4) BookSense says, “Backup or restore: Backup combo box.” Press the DOWN arrow to
move to the backup options. You can move to the “Restore” option using the RIGHT
arrow.
5) BookSense announces, “Backup settings dialog, select storage device: Flash disk,
combo box.” You can change this to the external memory card; SD card, or USB stick if
one is connected to the device by pressing the LEFT or RIGHT button.
6) Press the OK or MENU button on the device that you want to backup to. BookSense
says “Backing up settings, please wait” and after a few seconds “Done.”
To restore settings, follow these steps:
1) Press the MENU button. Press the UP or DOWN button to move to the “Advanced
options, pull down.”
2) Press the RIGHT, OK, or MENU button. BookSense says “Upgrade firmware, dialog.”
3) Press the UP or DOWN button, move to “Backup/Restore settings.” Press the RIGHT,
OK or MENU button. BookSense announces, “Backup or restore, Backup combo box.”
Press RIGHT arrow to move to “Restore”.
4) Press the DOWN arrow to move to the “Restore” options.
5) BookSense prompts, “select storage device: Flash disk, combo box.” You can change
this to the external memory card; SD card, or USB stick if one is connected to the device
by pressing the LEFT or RIGHT button.
6) Press the DOWN arrow to move to the restore type option. Use the LEFT and RIGHT
arrows to move between “Auto”, “Initialize” and and “Manual”.
7) Press the OK or MENU button to activate/save your restore settings. BookSense says
“Restoring settings, please wait” and after a few seconds “Done, the BookSense now will
reboot.” And restarts the system.
Note: if you set the restore type to “auto”, the BookSense automatically restores your
settings after a reset or upgrade. If you set the restore type to “Initialize”, settings are
restored to their factory defaults.
10.3 Effect sound settings
This setting allows you to select the following options power signal (signal, message, or
disable) and warning sound (enable or disable) settings. To set effect sound settings, follow
