2) Press the RIGHT, OK, or MENU button. BookSense announces, “Alarm settings, pull
down.”
3) Press the DOWN button to move to date and time settings pull down. Press the RIGHT,
OK, or MENU button. “Check date and time, dialog” is announced.
4) Press the RIGHT, OK, or MENU button. BookSense announces “Check date and time
dialog, day/MM/DD/YYYY.”
5) Press the DOWN button. BookSense announces “HH/MM/ AM or PM and SS.” If you
have set the date and time for 24-hour mode, it is spoken as “HH/MM and SS.”
6) Press the CANCEL button once you are done checking the date and time. It will then
return to where you were before accessing the menu.
9.2.2 Set Date and Time Notification
BookSense allows you to customize how the Date and Time are announced when you query
them using the “date and Time” button. To customize the Date and Time Notification, follow
these steps:
1) Press the MENU button. Press the UP or DOWN button to move to the “Global options,
pull down.”
2) Press the RIGHT, OK, or MENU button. BookSense announces, “Alarm settings, pull
down.”
3) Press the DOWN button to move to date and time settings pull down. Press the RIGHT,
OK, or MENU button. “Check date and time, dialog” is announced.
4) Press the “Down” button to navigate to “Set Date and Time Notification”.
5) Press the “Right” button to open the dialog: “Date/Time Output, Date and Time combo
box” is announced.
6) Use the “Left” and Right” buttons to move among the 3 options: “Date and Time”, “Date”,
and “Time”.
7) Pres “Menu” or “OK” to save your notification setting.
9.2.3 Set Date and Time
To set the date and time, follow these steps:
