Replacing the Fan

The fan may be replaced on site by HIMA service personnel. To do so, the controller must
be switched off. The warranty is voided if the device is opened by the customer.
Unscrew the two Torx fastening screws (
) located on the front side of the left and
right side panels.

Use a screwdriver to lift the F20 cover (
) and pull it out of the blue fixture from the
rear toward the front panel. At the same time, press against the fastening plate (
) to
remove the F20 cover from the left and right hand side fixtures (
).
Place the F20 cover on its coated side and unscrew the nuts from the fan's guiding pins
(
). Use a screwdriver to apply pressure to the cable clamp latches and remove the
fan's connection cables from the clamp.
The old fan can now be replaced with a new one.

At normal temperatures
(< 40 °C):

At increased temperatures
(> 40 °C):

Hardware Clock
In case of loss of operating voltage, the power provided by an integrated gold capacitor is
sufficient to buffer the hardware clock for approximately one week.
