10 Device Connections
10.1 Ethernet Interface
For the Ethernet interface use RJ45 plugs and twisted pair cable of
category 5 (CAT5) or higher, which consists of 4 twisted cores and has a
maximum transmission rate of 100 MBit/s (CAT5).
10.1.1
Ethernet Pin Assignment at the RJ45 Socket
Note:
The device supports the
Auto Crossover
function. Due to this fact
RX and TX can be switched.
Only 100 Mbit/s connections 100BASE-T are supported.
The following figure shows the RJ45 standard pin assignment:
