How to use the Command line flasher
Note:
The current version of the Flasher tool does not yet support flashing
via serial/UART and standard Ethernet.
Overview
The Command line flasher is included in the
netX Studio CDT
installation.
You will find it in the directory
C:\ProgramData\Hilscher GmbH\netX
Studio CDT\BuildTools\flasher\1.5.4
This Command line flasher can be used as an alternative to the GUI-
integrated
Flasher tool of netX Studio (which is described in the
How
to ... Use the Flasher tool
section of the document

Used in combination with batch files, the Command line flasher/LUA script
allows you to conveniently automate the end-of-line software flashing
process.
The Command line flasher and the GUI-integrated flasher both use the
same drivers, which are included in the netX Studio CDT installation
package and which should have been automatically installed on your PC/
laptop by the setup wizard during the installation process of netX Studio
CDT (if not disabled by “Windows Security” options).
Note:
The Command line flasher is also available as a separate tool from
Hilscher, independent from the netX Studio CDT installation (please
ask Hilscher netX support for the download link of the
Flasher
Command Line Interface
).
If you intend to use this separate tool, make sure that you also
download the required drivers from Hilscher and install them on
your programming PC/laptop.
