4.3 Transport Power Module (TPM)

16. Mark and note the orientation and proper connection of all wiring to ensure
proper installation during the replacement procedure.
17. Carefully disconnect the receptacle output connectors from the TPM.
18. Carefully disconnect the receptacle input connectors from the TPM.
19. Carefully disconnect the LVC cables from the TPM P.C. board, and the
connector board.
20. Carefully disconnect the spade connectors from the TPM P.C. board.
21. Remove the HV cover.
22. Pull the HV cable up and out to remove it from the TPM.
23. Pull the LVC cable to the connector board downward, and out.
24. Carefully tuck the remaining cables into the side cavity of the CarePorter™
Cart base weldment to gain side clearance for the TPM removal.
25. Using the ratchet and 11/32" socket, remove the nut that secures the ground
wires to the ground post.
CAUTION:
Do not pinch the cables when removing the TPM. Possible equipment
damage could occur.
26. Carefully remove the TPM from the CarePorter™ Cart base weldment
without pinching the wires.
Replacement
1. To install the replacement TPM, reverse the removal procedure.
WARNING:
Ensure that the gasket seals are properly installed in the effective
areas. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or equipment
damage.
