CAUTION:
Do not use silicone-based lubricants. Equipment damage could occur.
WARNING:
Ensure that the gasket seals are properly installed in the effective
areas. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or equipment
damage.
WARNING:
Ensure the CarePorter™ Cart is not attached to a bed or stretcher
during maintenance procedures. Possible personal injury or equipment
damage could occur.
WARNING:
Before working under the raised section of the bed, set the brakes, and
install the hilow cylinder safety block. Failure to do so could result in
personal injury or equipment damage.
WARNING:
Use proper lifting methods when lifting more than 50 lb (23 kg). Failure
to do so could result in personal injury or equipment damage.
Medical Gases
WARNING:
Keep oil, grease, and greasy substances away from the oxygen
manifold, cylinder valves, tubing, and connections, and all other oxygen
equipment. A spontaneous and violent ignition can occur if oil, grease,
or greasy substances come in contact with oxygen under pressure.
WARNING:
Open medical gas cylinder valves slowly. Rapidly expanding gas in the
presence of contaminants could result in a fire at the manifold.
WARNING:
Properly secure the medical gas cylinders to the CarePorter™ Cart.
