Chapter 3 Smart Function
3.1 Linked Capture
The panoramic channel and the PTZ channel are linked together to fast locate and capture targets.
Function Setup
To set up the linked capture, the following configurations should be done in order:
1. The panorama tracking settings, which link the panoramic channel and the PTZ channel.
2. The multi-target-type detection and capture settings of the panoramic channel.
3. The rapid focus settings of the PTZ channel.

Real-time Capture Display
Click Smart Display to view the real-time captured pictures.
3.1.1 Set Linked Capture
The configuration guide helps set the necessary configurations to run the
linked capture. For performance optimization, go to the detailed configuration pages of each step.
Steps
1. Click to start the configuration guide.
2. Click One-touch Calibration to link the panoramic channel and the PTZ channel automatically.
Click Next when it succeeds.
If the calibration fails, you should complete it manually. See Set Panorama Tracking for
instructions.
3. Drag the angles of the red frame on the image to determine the area for detection and capture.
Click Next when you finish.
To adjust the capture-related parameters, see Multi-Target-Type Detection for instructions.
4. Click One-touch Calibration to complete rapid focus calibration automatically.
Rapid focus helps to reduce the zooming time when the PTZ channel locates a target. If the
calibration fails, you should complete it manually. See Set Rapid Focus for instructions.
3.1.2 Smart Display
This function displays real time pictures captured by smart functions and analyzes the target in real
time.
