Chapter 11 VCA Alarm
The NVR supports the VCA detection alarm (human body detection, face detection, vehicle
detection, line crossing detection and intrusion detection, region entrance detection, region
exiting detection, unattended baggage detection, object removal detection, audio loss exception
detection, sudden change of sound intensity detection, and defocus detection) sent by IP camera.
The VCA detection must be enabled and configured on the IP camera settings interface first.
All VCA detection must be supported by the connected IP camera.
Please refer to the User Manual of Network Camera for the detailed instructions for the all
VCA detection types.
11.1 Human Body Detection
The human body detection enables to detect the human body appearing in the monitoring scene,
and capture the human body pictures.
This feature is available only when the connected camera supports the human body detection.

Go to
Camera

Human Body Detection
.
Step 2
Select the camera to configure the human body detection.
Step 3
Check the checkbox to enable the
Human Body
and the
Picture Dual Recognition
of the
target of interest.
By default the two features are disabled.
Human body (target of interest): filter the non-human body pictures and video files which
are not captured by the human body detection.
Picture dual recognition: take re-recognition for the pictures in the library to extract human
body features analysis and process modeling. The results are used for filtering the pictures
when searching the matched human body pictures.
