
Chapter 4 Device Installation and Cabling
After finishing the design of your video wall solution on the client, you can install your devices and
video wall according to the design.
4.1 Install Your Devices
Install Your Video Wall Controllers
Place your devices on flat surfaces such as a table, or on metal surfaces such as a video wall
bracket or the rear of an LCD screen with the magnet feet on the bottom of your devices. Decide
your installation way based on the actual scenario.
Install Your Video Wall
Install your video wall according to the video wall layout designed on the client. You can print the
layout file for convenience.
4.2 Connect Cables
After installation is complete, you need to connect cables for your device, including the grounding
cables, network cables, video and audio cables, serial cables, cascading cables, sync cables, and
power cables.
4.2.1 Cable Connection Requirements
Different application scenarios require different cable connection. See the following table and
figures for reference.
