5.2 Error messages
The error messages for the INK1000 are displayed through the HID Printer Status Monitor or the Details
pane in the Printing Preferences. When an error is detected, a notification is sent to the status monitor and
a message is displayed on your PC desktop.
The message can be either an event or a warning and remains open on your desktop until the error is
corrected or until you close the message window. To view the event properties, click the link shown on the
message. The event properties includes information about the event and can include cause and resolution
information.
For additional information on the status monitor, click the icons at the bottom of the message window.

tab of the HID Printer Status Monitor to view the print job

The error messages are arranged by category and error code. The following table shows the errors for the
INK1000 printer. If you encounter problems beyond the capabilities of this table, visit:
