A work table is provided at the end of this section for your convenience, to store all of the information needed for a
chassis replacement.
To replace a Storage Node chassis, proceed as follows:
1.
Enable the location LED on the Storage Node.
Tip:
The sample outputs shown for this procedure are from Storage Node 6.
a) In the CMC, navigate to
Dashboard
>
Administration
>
Hardware
>
Servers
>
Storage Nodes
.
b) Select the correct node.
c) In the
Commands
pane, click
Location LED On
.
2.
Shut down the Storage Node from the CMC.
Note:
Save the node's hostname in your worktable under
Original Hostname of Node
.
a) In the CMC, navigate to
Dashboard
>
Administration
>
Hardware
>
Servers
>
Storage Nodes
.
b) Select the desired Storage Node.
