Removing and replacing the front I/O board in the LFF right chassis ear

Prerequisites

Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have the following tools available:

• T-10 Torx screwdriver

• Small flat head screwdriver

Procedure

1. Power down the server.

2. Remove all power:

a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.

b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.

3. Remove the server from the rack.

4. Remove the access panel.

5. Remove the cable protection panel.
