COM-Port
Use this box to select the desired COM port number.
Default Protocol
Select the B channel protocol to be used by default from this box.
MSN-Number
Select the MSN/Subaddress to accept calls with.
Caller-ID
Enter the desired caller ID into this box. If you have checked the
“same Caller-ID for all outgoing calls” in Adapter Settings, the num-
ber entered there will be used.
Adding, deleting, or changing a virtual Communications Port
Before you can use a virtual Communications Port, you’ll need to add
it, and possibly make some settings. Usually, you’ll add one port per
application you plan to use. For example, if you plan to use both a ter-
minal emulator and a fax software, you’ll add two ports.
