4.1.3 Adapter Settings
The basic settings for each ISDN adapter is done here. You may
choose each single adapter from the topmost list and then change its
configuration.
D Channel Protocol
Select an entry of this list to adapt your ISDN adapter to the type of
ISDN line you have connected it to. In rare cases,
ISDN System
Manager
might be unable to determine the D channel protocol used
automatically. In this case, please choose the entry for the country
you’re in.
• If you are in Europe, choose Euro-ISDN (EDSS-1).
• If you are in any other country, please select the country you’re in.
• If your country is not listed, please select Euro-ISDN (EDSS-1).
Caller-ID
The caller ID is the phone number which is shown to the remote site
as your calling number. The same way you are able to accept calls
under different MSN, you may tell the remote station you called dif-
ferent sender phone numbers. This allows the called station to identify
you as of your caller ID.
