Preparing the monitoring
system on i.Series incubators

This section only applies to i.Series models.
This section provides an overview of the i.Center independent monitoring system, and explains how to use
it to view and change alarm setpoints.

Touring the i.Center monitoring system
This section provides an overview of the major screens and features of the i.Center monitoring system.
4.1.1
Touring the HOME screen
The HOME screen displays current information and is the starting screen for all interaction with the
monitoring system.
The HOME screen appears in the following circumstances:

When the HOME button is pressed from any other screen
►
When there is no interaction for two minutes on any screen other than those used to enter the password.

Identifies the current screen

Battery voltage level
Displays information about the remaining life of the
backup batteries for the monitoring system

Upper chamber temperature display Displays the current temperature sensed by the upper
temperature probe

Button labels
Displays the option assigned to the button below it.
These labels vary depending on the screen.

Buttons
Selects menu options in the monitoring system software

Date and time display
Displays the current date and time as programmed in
the monitoring system

Lower chamber temperature display
(Only appears on PC3200i and
PC4200i models)
Displays the current temperature sensed by the lower
temperature probe

Active alarm display
Indicates the number and description of alarm
conditions that have been reached
