Photo setting
Aerial images, need good exposition, clearness, and blurs are prohibited.
To guaranty these features, we propose a camera setting to take aerial images.
1.
Set the image mode to “S” which correspond to shutter priority. This mode
allows you to choose the shutter speed and to set automatically the
aperture. Choose a shutter speed at 1/800.
2.
Set the ISO at the minimum value depending on your lightening conditions.
A sunny day will allow you to choose ISO 100, but a cloudy one will
necessary take a ISO 400. Try to not use ISO over 800.
3.
The focus is really important, we are searching the best depth field for the
camera with a fixed focal length.
a.
So, put your camera in MF (Manual Focus) mode.
b.
Put the pancakes to the upper value (infinity).
c.
Then turn it clockwise and take a photo at each position.
d.
Look at the photo by using zoom and verify if both background and
foreground are net. Normally, the good focus value is the last with an
infinity symbol.
e.
Then use some tape to fix the focus.
