9. Operation
9.1 Locating and
deactivating a
fault
Locating a fault
f Press the test button on a
signalling smoke alarm.
Ö The smoke alarm with the
fault continues to signal.
Ö All other smoke alarms are
muted.
Muting a fault
f Press the test button on the
triggering smoke alarm.
Ö The fault is muted for
24 hours.

f Press the test button on a
signalling smoke alarm.
Ö All smoke alarms that detect
smoke continue to signal.
Ö All other smoke alarms are
muted.
Deactivating an alarm
f Press the test button on the
triggering smoke alarm.
Ö The alarm is muted for
10 minutes.
If the smoke alarm continues
to detect smoke, the radio
network is alarmed again.
