Autostart
The device switches off in the event of a power failure.
The device will be switched on again as soon as the device is connected to the power grid
again. However, the pump for the thermal fluid circuit needs to be restarted.
If the device is connected to one of the two rotary evaporators
Hei-VAP Expert and Hei-VAP Ultimate, these two rotary evaporators
will control how the device is restarted.
You can define in the “Autostart...” submenu whether the device should automatically
start in temperature control operation after a power failure.
Warning:
Risk of explosion! Risk of frostbite! Risk of poisoning!
Risk of injury! Risk of slipping!
If the device automatically resumes full operation after a power
failure, loose screw connections or defective glass containers could
result in the uncontrolled escape of liquids. The liquids that may
escape as a result pose a risk of frostbite, poisoning and slippage.
Burst glassware also poses a significant risk of injury and can result in
exothermic reactions.
If you have activated the autostart function, do not leave the chiller
and connected peripheral devices unsupervised under any circum
-
stances.
Check that the hose connections are secure at regular intervals. Only
work with flawless glass containers.
