Alarm output
The device differentiates between three different fault messages.
▪
Alarm
:
An alarm is triggered if a fault is relevant to safety. The corresponding components on
the device will be switched off. The device switches to standby operation.
▪
Error:
An error indicates a fault that was caused by a hardware error. The device switches to
standby operation.
▪
Warning
:
Warnings indicate faults that are not relevant to safety. The device continues to
operate.
All fault messages are issued as an error on the display (see chapter ”Troubleshooting,
Malfunctions and troubleshooting“).
In addition, the faults can be output to a connected device via the alarm output (also see
chapter “Assembly, Peripheral connections”, section “Alarm output”).
The device is configured in the factory to always output safety-relevant faults to the
alarm output. You can also define whether the fault should be output in the event of the
following additional faults.
