Special functions
Standby operation and autostart
In standby mode, the device is in an idle state when it is switched on. All displays can be
called up in standby mode.
If the standby mode is deactivated or autostart is activated and the unit contains suffi
-
cient temperature control fluid, the unit starts to cool immediately when it is switched on
and after a power interruption.
Standby mode is activated when the device is delivered.
Do not change this setting when using the device to cool the Hei-VAP
Industrial rotary evaporator! The chiller is switched on and off via the
rotary evaporator.
Warning:
Risk of explosion!Risk of frostbite! Risk of poisoning! Risk of
injury! Risk of slipping!
If the device automatically resumes full operation after a power
failure, loose screw connections or defective glass containers could
result in the uncontrolled escape of liquids. The liquids that may
escape as a result pose a risk of frostbite, poisoning and slippage.
Burst glassware also poses a significant risk of injury and can result in
exothermic reactions.
If you have activated the autostart function, do not leave the chiller
and connected peripheral devices unsupervised under any circumstan
-
cesCheck that the hose connections are secure at regular intervals.
Only work with flawless glass containers.
