Service life

NOTE!
This product does not have an unlimited
service life!

It has been designed for a maximum service life at
nominal load, the mounted ionisation flame monitor
is type approved. In applications involving 50
switching processes per day, this service life is set
at around 10 years. This period can be
substantially reduced in the event of increased
stress (temperature, vibrations, dirt etc.).

–  System operators and owners must take the

steps to ensure that regular safety checks are
performed depending on the actually occurring
degree of stress.

–  Exchange the gas fired igniter after it has

exceeded the specified service life. After expiry
of the maximum operating period, functional
defects can occur more frequently.

–  Check wearing parts independently of actual

stress levels and exchange if required.
