Do not install combustible mantel or other combus-
tible projection closer than 55 inches minimum above
the top of the unit.
HEARTH EXTENSION
While a hearth extension may be desirable for aes-
thetic reasons, it is not required for gas fireplace heat-
ers per ANSI or CSA testing standards.
