Installation & Operating Instructions

1.  Remove parts from package and lay face down on 

a  non-abrasive,  stable,  flat  surface.  The  upper  and 

lower J-Hooks and tabs must be straightened as 

shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3 because they are 

shipped flat.  See Figure 5 for a visual reference and 

measurements for each individual trim kit.

2.  Connect the top, bottom, and sides by aligning the 

holes on the left and right side pieces with the thread-

ed  studs  on  the  top  and  bottom  pieces.    The  four-

piece trim kit is shown in Figure 1.  When installing the 

three-piece trim kit, align the top piece with the sides 

in the same manner.

3.  Secure  the  two  nuts  at  each  corner  using  a  3/8  in. 

wrench or nut driver.  See Figure 2.

4.  Bend the tabs of the lower mounting brackets as 

shown in Figure 3.  

5.  Hang trim kit on appliance by aligning upper J-Hooks 

with top fireplace slots.  Secure by pressing inward 

and downward until trim kit sits firmly in place.  Fast

ern lower corners with included sheet metal screws.

6.  If the sides of the trim pieces appear to be bent inward 

away from fireplace wrap sides, loosen hex nuts, re

-

move assembled trim piece and gently bend sides 

outward slightly. While keeping the side trim pieces 

pushed outward, replace and tighten the hex nuts.

7.  Hang  the  firescreen  decorative  front  on  appliance.  

See Figure 4. 

Note:

 If an overlap front is used, attach trim kit before 

attaching door front mounting brackets. The front 

will overlap the trim kit.
