10 Preparing the Fully Automatic Stud Feeder (VBZ)
10.2 Changing-over the VBZ
Pull out the mains plug.
Disconnect connecting cable 92-40-032 from the stud welding unit.
Unplug the compressed air supply at the bush
(pos. 5)

Danger from moving parts
Before working on an open device, make certain that the VBZ is depres-
surised.
You can now remove the two knurled cap screws
(pos. 17)
from the separator
cage.
Remove the stud feed hose
(pos. 15)
with separator cage cover
(pos. 16)
.
Remove the studs from the feeding bowl
(pos. 10)
, the stud outlet guide
(pos. 11)
and the slide
(pos. 18)
.
Loosen the two screws
(pos. 13)
and remove the spacers
(pos. 12)
.
Pull the slide out of the separator cage (9).
