Note
The above Windows settings were tested and chosen using a specific setup of
equipment (Intel
®
Ethernet Server adaptor x520). These setting may not be the
optimal settings for your specific system.

Installing a 1 Gbit SFP/10 Gbit SFP+ Module
Introduction
This section explains how to install and remove the Small Form Factor
Pluggable (SFP or SFP+) transceiver device from any interface that supports
SFP or SFP+ modules.
This device enables an optical network connection to be plugged directly into
the front panel, in the optical network interface of the Interface/Controller. This
option is also required in order to use the 10 Gbit Ethernet card.
