Chapter 3 - Hardware Installation 

 

3-1    Connecting the access point to a router or PoE switch 

 

1.

 

Connect the access point’s LAN1 (PoE-IN) port to the PoE Switch/Injector 
via Ethernet cable. Connect another cable from the PoE LAN side to the 
rest of your network. 

 

 

2.

 

Wait a moment for the access point to start up. The access point is ready 
when the Status LED is OFF. 

 
 

3-2    Connect Repeater/Bridge mode to Network. 

 

1.

 

Connect the access point’s LAN1 (PoE-IN) port to the PoE Switch via 
Ethernet cable. (If in bridge mode, connect LAN side of PoE switch/injector
