Prepare For Landing

Emergency exit ..........................................................Confirm clear
MAIN AIR VLVs 1 & 2 ...............................................CLOSE
DUMP VALVE ............................................................OPEN
Landing
• Land at as low a weight as possible.
• Use normal landing flap setting.
• Touchdown at as low a speed as practicable.
• Do not use lift dump.
• Do not deploy thrust reversers.
After Touchdown
With Two Gear Locked Down
• Keep the unsupported wing or nose off the ground until at a low speed, but lower wing or
nose before control is lost.
• After lowering the unsupported wing or nose, use wheel brakes and nosewheel steering,
if appropriate, to keep in a straight line.
• If the nose gear is not locked down, select HP COCKS closed at touchdown.
With All Gear Up
• Select HP COCKS closed at touchdown.
