14.4.3 - Checking the oil level of the epicycloidal reducers
N.B.
-:-To check the reducer oil level, you must move the machine to position the closure plug in the
required positions. Due to the presence of a differential on each of the axles, you will have to repeat this
operation for each of the machine wheels.
Capacity : 4 x 1,3 l(4 x 0,34 gal US)
• When it is in the high position, loosen the plug ( 3 ) by a few turns, to release any internal pressure
from the housing and then close it again.
• Drive the machine slowly to bring the plug to horizontal position.
• Loosen the plug completely : the oil level must be at the level of the plug hole, otherwise top up to the
correct level via the same hole.
• Refit the plug ( 3 ).
