E. Overhaul Periods
(1)
In flight, the propeller is constantly subjected to vibration
from the engine and the airstream, as well as high
centrifugal forces.
(2) The propeller is also subject to corrosion, as well
as general deterioration due to aging. Under these
conditions, metal fatigue or mechanical failures can
occur.
(3) To protect your investment, and to maximize the safe
operating lifetime of your propeller, it is essential that
a propeller be properly maintained and overhauled
according to the recommended service procedures.

HC-SL-61-61Y.
