C. Placement of Balance Weights for Dynamic Balance
(1) The preferred method of attachment of dynamic balance
weights is to add the weights to the spinner bulkhead;
however, the configuration of the spinner bulkhead on
many of the propeller models covered in this manual
makes it impractical to mount dynamic balance weights
in this manner. Dynamic balance must be accomplished
through the removal or addition and/or the relocation of
the static balance weights located on the blade clamps.
(a) Each blade clamp has four balance weight locations
on the outboard circular surface of the clamp
(Figure 6-4).
