Section 6 Troubleshooting
6.2.4.6
External Interlock
External interlock (cab or sys level) open. RF turns off. Depending on dipswitch
settings on the Cabinet Controller(s), the transmitter may or may not come back on
when fault goes away. If S3-6 on the Cabinet Controller is OFF, (Auto Restart mode)
then the cabinet will automatically come back on when the interlock is closed again. If
S3-6 is ON, then a transmitter ON command is required to get the transmitter back on
the air after the interlock is closed. In Life Support (LS) mode, cabinet is shut off and
won't return until fault is gone and ON is pressed.
6.2.4.7
Air Pressure Low
Pressure switch in Amp Cab detects low air pressure. Probably means the fan is not on.
The cabinet will trip off after 2 minutes if airflow does not return. The PA Cabinet does
not automatically turn back on when fault goes away. Transmitter ON command is
required reset the system and return the cabinet to air. This also applies in Life Support
Mode.
6.2.4.8
Com Fail
Cabinet Controller is not responding to the Main Controller.
6.2.5

screen press the MENU button in the top left corner of the GUI and then press the
"Control Cabinet" button on the graphic of the Control Cabinet.
6.2.5.1
EEPROM
Error was detected writing to EEPROM. Latching. Just a warning.
6.2.5.2
Life Support Board Fault
Indicates the clock or timer for the EPLD is not operational and the Life Support board
cannot carry out its programming. Check test points TP4 - 10kHz, TP7 - 10 Hz and
TP11 - 1Hz. Life Support Board replacement is probably required.
