• Simulcast for every channel, where SD-only channels include 2 identical outputs, and HD-capable
channels include 2 independently-configurable outputs. An HD video channel can be presented in both
720p and 1080i.
• A proxy option that enables simultaneous generation of both low- and high-resolution clips during
recording.
• Chroma sampling options of 4:2:2, 4:2:1, or 4:2:0, which can be configured as appropriate for the
operating point.
• Video channels that include 16 channels of embedded audio for up to two pairs (four channels).

Component
Description
Power indicator
A bright blue light across the upper part of the front panel
indicates the power is on. This indicator also provides a “wink”
function that identifies the device when wink mode is enabled in
SystemManager or Spectrum Management.
Air vents
An array of vent openings across the front panel provide air flow.
For optimum airflow, do not obstruct the front panel air vents or
block the rear panel vents.
Port status display
A back lit LCD panel displays the basic system status and
hardware health of the unit. The back light darkens automatically
after a brief period of illumination. Increase the illumination of the
display by touching the panel.
