c. Press down on the riser assembly bracket and faceplate until firmly seated.
CAUTION:
Do not rock the riser assembly into place. Doing so may damage the
contact pins within the riser slot.
Replacing the Ethernet card in PCI Riser 2
When installing the riser assembly, be careful not to rock the riser assembly into place on the server
board. Doing so can damage the contact pins within the riser slot.
NOTE:
The specific card you are replacing may be in a different PCI slot position than that
which is shown in the images in this section.
1. Remove PCI Riser 2-3 assembly as follows:
a. Disconnect the internal cable from the front of the LTC card.
b. Grasp PCI Riser 2-3 assembly with both hands and pull the riser assembly out of the riser slot,
being careful to clear the LTC connector away from the rear panel before lifting up.
