Use RJ-45/UTP cables to make the following connections:
1. Connect the Ethernet port indicated with key 1 to Management. This port can be used for
Management and MPEG over IP input/output in parallel.
2. Connect the Ethernet port indicated with key 2 to CAS (and/or MPEG over IP input/output).
3. Connect the other Ethernet ports indicated with key 3-6 to MPEG over IP input/output.
If you have additional cards installed, make the additional connections with the relevant cables.
First time device setup
The initial configuration of the device's IP address.
You can configure the device's IP address by using an monitor connection to the device's VGA and a
keyboard to the USB port or you can use the BMX Web Console.
