Front and Rear Panel Descriptions
Front Panel
ON/OFF button
Press to turn unit on or off.
POWER LED
On solid (blue) when operating power is supplied (via local power supply).
HDD LED
On flashing (red) when there is software activity.
USB ports
Insert USB drive for file transfer and storage. Also supports a USB keyboard (for diagnostic and factory
restore purposes only).
Rear Panel
USB ports
Insert USB drive for file transfer and storage. Also supports a USB keyboard (for diagnostic and factory
restore purposes only).
Factory DVI Diagnostic Port
Plug directly into a monitor for diagnostic purposes while performing or creating a factory restore
partition (which allows a backup of the system from a specified time). This would discard any changes
made after the restore point (software updates, recordings, etc).
RJ-45
8-wire RJ45 female.
10/100/1000 Mbps 10/100/1000Base-T auto-sensing gigabit Ethernet switch port.
Power Input
120 Volt AC power input for external power supply.
Power On/Off Switch
Use to apply or remove power to the unit from the power supply.
NOTE:
This On/Off switch should only be used to disconnect the NVR from main power once it has
been properly shut down. Use the Off button on the front of the unit for proper shut down. Be sure to
save any changes prior to shutting down or powering off the NVR.
