How to Exit a Sub-
Menu Without
Changing the
Values
Step 1. Press the Exit button. You can exit the Sub-Menu without
changing a thing.
• An example: You wanted to enter 547 and you entered
457. Simply press the Exit button to exit without entering
the wrong value.
Step 2. If you set a new parameter value and want to move to another
parameter without changing the old value. Press the up
↑
or
down
↓
arrow. The original value is restored.
• An example: You are changing the MED Access Code
number but really wanted to change the LOW Access
Code number. Use the up
↑
arrow to leave the MED
Access parameter without changing the value.
Tuning and Control
Sub-Menu
• This Sub-Menu allows the user to view the factory default parame-
ters and constant values used by the HI 2160RC
PLUS
for optimal
control flow rates. The Sub-Menu also allows the user to change the
default settings and calculate new constants if the user believes the
settings do not create optimal flow rates for their particular process.
• The Default Settings are:

• The factory set Tuning/Control default parameters, when used in
conjunction with the K(p), K(i), K(d) values computed by the HI
2160RC
PLUS
, work correctly with a vast majority of feeders and
ingredients currently on the market. In most cases there is no need
to change any values in the Tuning/Control Sub-Menu. In the event
that the Tuning/Control factory default parameters are not optimal
